To fulfill our vision, our Learning & Development Coach will perform a variety of diverse functions designed to support the employees of Innovative Healthcare Delivery, overall, as we continue to quickly grow our organization.  Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, or instructors.
  • Design, plan, organize, or direct orientation and training programs for employees.
  • Offer specific training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills.
  • Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.
  • Obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.
  • Monitor, evaluate, or record training activities, or program effectiveness.
  • Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.
  • Evaluate training materials prepared by instructors, such as outlines, text, or handouts.
  • Evaluate modes of training delivery, such as in-person or virtual to optimize training effectiveness, training costs, or environmental impacts.
  • Keep up with developments in area of expertise by reading current journals, books, or magazine articles.
  • Attend meetings or seminars to obtain information for use in training programs or to inform management of training program status.
  • Select and assign instructors to conduct training.
  • Schedule classes based on availability of classrooms, equipment, or instructors.
  • Supervise, evaluate, or refer instructors to skill development classes.
  • Devise programs to develop potential among employees in lower-level positions.
  • Assist with ongoing operational training for all staff, to include utilizing appropriate tools to make observations, report on, and or assist with correcting practices that could jeopardize overall IHD programs quality

  • Education and Training - Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and measuring training effects.
  • English Language – Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Administration and Management – Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Psychology – Knowledge of human behavior and performance, individual differences in ability, personality, and interests, learning and motivation.

What We’d Like

Ideally, applicants should possess:

At least 3+ years of experience in training, with minimum 2 years of experience working in the healthcare industry.
Strong attention to detail, project management, and people skills that allow for successful training, execution, and implementation of compliance measures and practices.
Excellent, thorough, and comprehensive writing skills where final written products require little to no revisions.
Ability to independently and thoroughly research training topics, and understand how to align IHD practices with research findings using outstanding reading comprehension and critical thinking skills.
